The year was 2015. Fresh into newlywed life, I chose to walk away from an unfulfilling corporate job that was making me miserable and vowed to do something I love. I started learning graphic design, which led to opening an Etsy shop offering wall prints & graphics, followed by wedding invitations…which turned into a full-blown wedding planning company.

My inner creativity was finally outwardly flourishing as I had the opportunity to plan weddings across the Southeast and see my work published in several bridal magazines.

These were the early days of social media but I quickly realized the opportunities it offered for growing my business. After all, I’d hired every single one of our wedding vendors off of their social media platforms alone (and pretty much all of my brides did, too)!

As my knowledge grew and was put into practice, I shifted my focus from wedding planning to planning out social media for other small business owners. The work fit me like the perfect pair of vintage jeans.

In addition to 8+ years of industry experience, I have a bachelor’s in business with a concentration in marketing—(a 4-year degree I worked my butt off to complete in 3!).

Since the start of social media (literally before it was even cool!), I’ve authentically shared the behind-the-scenes of my life and business. After struggling with infertility, miscarriage, and loss, my husband and I now have two beautiful miracle babies. As a busy, hardworking mom, it’s an honor to form relationships and support other passionate founders (like you!) in pursuit of doing what you love, too.
